Description
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the General Store, Marina Store, or Trading Post and sell merchandise to them
- Execute clerical functions in Lake Raystown Resort's three (3) retail stores
- Assist and support the Retail Manager in running the retail stores effectively
- Use Catapult Point of Sale software system to prepare, total and verify customers' orders and collect appropriate payment from guests
- Maintain, manage and organize merchandise and products on the shelves and racks in retail stores
- Help guests locate the merchandise they wish to buy on the shelves
- Complete end of daily reports and payment reconciliations
- Ensure that our guests have an excellent retail experience
- Cleaning and tidying of stores as requested by Retail Manager
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- All staff under 18 must have a worker’s permit provided by your local school district.
- Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties preferred
- Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as be able to understand requests for assistance
- Must be able to stand and walk during entire shift
- Must be able to reach, bend and stoop
- A desire to help out where needed and to be part of a team
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
