Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and improve overall sales.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
- Assist in training new staff members on store policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform retail math calculations as needed to manage inventory and sales data effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies regarding safety, security, and customer service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Experience with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to supervise team members effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
