What will you do?

As a key player in our quality team, you’ll drive daily improvements in cost and quality, leading teams to ensure we always exceed expectations. From conducting audits to problem-solving and participating in Kaizen events, you’ll make sure our products and processes are in perfect form.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and execute studies and audits of both new and existing materials, products, and processes to identify areas of improvement and ensure conformance to requirements.
• Proactively improve products and processes to keep us at the cutting edge of quality.
• Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods and procedures to maintain high standards.
• Design sampling procedures, create forms for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data, and write clear instructions on how to use them.
• Establish programs to assess the precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing facilities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Kaizen events, focusing on quality and lean processes.
• Develop engaging training materials and lead sessions on quality-related topics to share your expertise with the team.
• Investigate nonconforming products and determine corrective actions to resolve any issues.
• Assist with the verification of incoming raw materials to ensure they meet our high standards.

What You will Need to Succeed:

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Clear communication with team members at all levels.
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with quality tools, SPC basics, inspection techniques, sampling, audits, corrective action, and managing nonconforming materials.
• Familiarity with MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to drive root cause improvements using formal problem-solving methods.
• Experience helping Kaizen teams improve both cost and quality.
• A passion for learning new concepts, tools, and materials to enhance your expertise.
