Sourcing Category Manager
Location : Columbia, SC
POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the global sourcing strategy and supplier relationship management to deliver a world class supplier base to Pure Fishing. The Sourcing Category Manager reports to Senior Director of Global Sourcing and works closely with the rest of Sourcing and Supply Chain organization, Operations, Product Management, Sales and Business Development leaders to support and sustain a profitable product portfolio that provides the company with competitive advantage in terms of cost, quality and performance
Key Responsibilities :
- Organize and lead all internal stakeholders to develop and implement Sourcing Strategy for Finished Goods
- Develop strong preferred supplier relationships across the entire value chain
- Conduct global business reviews to drive KPI performance including lead time, OTD, quality, production support and flexibility
- Assist business in resolution of critical quality and service problems
- Manage Sourced Finished Goods cost to achieve organization goals
- Negotiate global contractual agreements with OEM suppliers
- Perform RFQ events with assigned categories
- Conduct risk mitigation analysis on supply base
