- Understanding of Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of injection molding, CNC machining, casting, and other relevant manufacturing methods.
- Material Knowledge: Familiarity with materials used in tooling, such as steel, aluminum, and various plastics, and how they perform under different conditions.
- Proficiency in CAD Software: Strong skills in software like SolidWorks, or AutoCAD for designing tools, molds, and fixtures.
