What will you do?
As a Tool Room Apprentice, you’ll be hands-on in the exciting world of precision machining, learning the ins and outs of maintaining, repairing, and fabricating molds, fixtures, and robotic tooling. This is your chance to develop hands-on skills and gain valuable experience in a critical manufacturing role! Under the mentorship of experienced toolmakers, you’ll:

• Assist in mold revisions and repairs to keep production running smoothly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend mold lifespan.
• Operate and maintain Toolroom machinery.
• Help track and schedule mold repairs.
• Support machining and repairs for new fixtures.
• Learn how to build new robot tooling and create mold inserts.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for action.
• Collaborate with team members across all shifts.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Enrollment in or completion of a tool & die or machining apprenticeship program (bonus points!).
• Basic knowledge of machining tools like lathes, Bridgeport mills, and surface grinders.
• Strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with confidence.
• Understanding of injection molds is a plus.
• A willingness to learn and develop hands-on expertise in a manufacturing environment.
