What will you do?
As a Tool Room Apprentice, you’ll be hands-on in the exciting world of precision machining, learning the ins and outs of maintaining, repairing, and fabricating molds, fixtures, and robotic tooling. - Assist in mold revisions and repairs to keep production running smoothly.
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend mold lifespan.
- Operate and maintain Toolroom machinery.
- Help track and schedule mold repairs.
- Support machining and repairs for new fixtures.
- Learn how to build new robot tooling and create mold inserts.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for action.
- Collaborate with team members across all shifts.
If you love working with tools, solving problems, and creating precision parts, this role is a perfect fit!
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Enrollment in or completion of a tool & die or machining apprenticeship program (bonus points!).
- Basic knowledge of machining tools like lathes, Bridgeport mills, and surface grinders.
- Strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with confidence.
- Understanding of injection molds is a plus.
- A willingness to learn and develop hands-on expertise in a manufacturing environment.
