We are seeking dedicated Scalp Therapy Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing therapeutic head spa treatments. You will consult with our clientele to determine the best course of action for their specific scalp and hair needs and provide scalp treatments and massages, hair washes, and drying services in addition to product and service sales. This role requires excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

Duties

• Evaluate and analyze clients’ scalp, guide clients through service offerings, and determine which products and services would benefit them the most.
• Provide hair washing, conditioning, and drying services, paying close attention to clients’ hair type and specific needs.
• Massage clients' scalp through soft tissue and pressure point manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience.
• Take detailed client history and note any noticeable conditions, referring them to relevant professionals as necessary.
• Actively promote the spa treatments, services, products, as well as programs, promotions, and/or discounts available.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work station per company standards.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Maintain a professional and clean work environment and appearance, adhering to company dress code.
• Maintain complete confidentiality in all client matters in accordance with Company policy.
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology License required (new students are welcome)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a Scalp Therapy or Head Spa technician or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of Head Spa procedures and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at and working around a sink bowl/massage bed.
• Frequent use of hand and fingers to handle, manipulate, or feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
• Frequent need to stand up and sit down multiple times throughout a day.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• We understand the physical demands of this role and provide ergonomic equipment and scheduled breaks to ensure your comfort and well-being throughout your workday.

Schedule

• Part-time or Full-time
• 4 hour shift or 8 hour shift
• Operating Hours: Monday through Sunday 10am - 8pm
