Pharmacy Representative

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Representative to join our team. As a Pharmacy Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Perform medication inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering inquiries and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication administration
- Follow aseptic technique protocols for sterile compounding, including IV infusions
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Utilize critical care skills to provide specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines to maintain compliance

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
- Valid pharmacy technician certification/license (if required by state regulations)
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is highly desirable
- Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
