Shop Helper Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in moving parts into position manually or by hoist, cranes, jigs, fixtures, clamps, and jacks.
- Assist in loading, transporting, and unloading materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist in minor maintenance and cleaning activities of tools, equipment, and facility.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing personal safety equipment.
- Performs other duties and activities as required.
- Work under limited supervision.
- Follow assigned work instructions (mainly verbal).
- Strength, standing, walking, sitting, lifting 50lbs, pushing, carrying 50lbs, pushing 70lbs, pulling 70lbs, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling crouching, reaching, handling, and gripping.
