Role Title Quality Technician

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
Pure Manufacturing’s Quality Technician is a hard-working, enthusiastic individual with a good eye for detail. They are responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on Pure Manufacturing products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. They also maintain test equipment, prepare test data, and identify and implement areas for quality control improvement.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing practice and systems by validating processes and providing documentation.
· Achieves quality by contributing, preparing, and implementing action plans as set by management in regard to productivity, quality standards, identifying and resolving problems, determining system improvements, implementing change, enforcing policies and procedures.
· Accomplishes quality objectives, analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions.
· Verify quality processes by documenting evidence during pre-operation, in-process inspections and finished good inspections.
· Ensuring standard operating procedures are implemented on the production floor.
· Maintains and improves product quality by surveillance audits, company policies, systems, procedures, and compliance.
· Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
· Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
· Quality technicians are responsible for conducting verifications of equipment during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
· Focuses on various procedures throughout the manufacturing process. Inspection of finished goods to find defects, check weights, etc.
· Pulling incoming raw and finished samples for testing, inspect and verify all incoming and outgoing products and paperwork to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
· Oversees and updates in-process product inspection standards.
· Oversees the rework process by inspection and physical test methods and procedures.
· Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures.
· Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures.
· Performs root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Accurately update quality logs; Lab submission, skip lot testing, MRB and expired products.
REQUIREMENTS
· Read, speak, and write English.
· Perform basic mathematical functions including percentages and conversions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods.
· Able to work in a mildly dusty environment.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
