Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with potential customers, showcasing our products, and providing exceptional solar education. We are the best solar installer in the area with an unmatched reputation. We have a very healthy lead flow coming in because of our phenomenal customer service and we need assistance converting the overwhelming interest into closed deals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of the market, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Prior solar sales experience that is verifiable is very much desired, but not necessarily a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through various channels including networking groups, events, and calling leads to book appointments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction enabling future referrals
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Present solar system options to potential clients in their home, highlighting the benefits and value of our offerings.
- Utilize Hubspot to manage leads, track sales activities, and report on performance metrics.
- We close deals with education and reputation, not with pressure.
- Sending educational follow up emails after the meeting that help the customer realize why we are their best option.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or energy sales is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections in the sales process.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
