We are seeking a Production Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team. This critical role ensures the efficient planning and scheduling of production operations, enabling us to meet customer demands while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
- Utilize CIN7, DEAR Inventory, or other advanced ERP software to streamline inventory, forecasting, and production planning processes.
- Analyze historical data and forecast future demand to support accurate production planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, purchasing, and sales, to align production schedules with business needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure raw materials are available for scheduled production.
- Proactively address potential bottlenecks or disruptions in the production schedule.
- Masterfully use Excel to create and manage reports, track key performance indicators, and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Work under pressure, managing multiple moving parts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Production planning within a food manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CIN7, DEAR Inventory, or other ERP systems is required.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in forecasting and scheduling is essential.
- A collaborative and positive team player with a strong work ethic.
