Pure Storage is seeking a Security Governance Program Manager to:
- Establish and maintain governance and compliance standards
- Create, maintain, communicate, and enforce security policies
- Design and document technical, administrative, and physical controls to ensure the business demonstrates compliance; to ensure that Pure Storage meets both the requirements and intent of its regulatory and compliance obligations
- Facilitate the remediation of control gaps and to escalate critical issues to leadership
- Work closely with control owners and internal and external auditors to ensure requests are timely completed
- Assist with the evaluation of the effectiveness of the information security program by developing, monitoring, gathering, and analyzing information security and compliance metrics for management
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...
- Effectively communicate technical issues to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally
- Apply a risk-based approach to planning, executing, and reporting on audit engagements and auditing process
- Evaluate and update and/or revise program materials
- Learn quickly and apply knowledge to new situations
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters, situations, and data
- Understand and follow broad and complex instructions
- Comprehend technical language and to confer, analyze and write in an objective, lucid manner
- You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
The annual base salary range is: $156,000– $284,000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
