Position Overview

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

As a Senior Supply Base Development Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of the Pure supply chain. This role involves ensuring that suppliers meet the company’s standards for quality, cost, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on their ability to meet the company's requirements.

• Working with suppliers to improve their processes, capabilities, and performance.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.

• Tracking and assessing supplier performance through metrics and KPIs to ensure they meet contractual obligations and company standards.

• Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them.

• Negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

• Ensuring suppliers comply with industry standards, regulations, and the company’s quality requirements.

• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the supply base to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. 

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Procurement and Commodity Management

• Background working with ERP & MRP systems 

• Knowledge of the data storage markets or other relevant high tech industry

• Must have commodity pricing expertise, be detail oriented, analytical, process savvy, customer focused, and adaptable to business needs

• As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

Salary : $145,000 - $218,000
