Independent Water Treatment Field Service Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team as an Independent Subcontractor (1099). The ideal candidate will have a technical background in water purification, plumbing, or related fields, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, service, and maintenance of water purification systems for residential and commercial work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and repair and replace components as needed.
• Follow company guidelines to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed service reports and communicate findings clearly in writing.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices during service visits.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to scheduled service appointments.
• Sales opportunity available:
  • Technicians identifying customer needs may earn additional income through equipment upgrades and product sales.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (last 3-5 years).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Technical background in water purification, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• C-55 Water Conditioning Contractor License is a plus but not required.
• Strong computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
