What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Manager position at Pure Ziva?
Hello!
We’re an online business looking for a shipping manager.
Key responsibilities:
1. Receive inventory, sorting and organizing individual units into groups
2. Print and match labels
3. Organize the units for packagers
4. Prepare shipments for Amazon’s warehouses
5. Physically bring the shipments to the UPS office
6. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the office
This is a 1099 position, and a background check will be required.
Location: Our office at 16th Street and Missouri
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1. Attentive to detail: This is a common thing people say on job postings, but we really need someone who is organized and sharp.
2. Computer literate: Basic skills like knowing how to navigate a website, open documents, access/troubleshoot printer settings are essential.
3. Have your own car. This is strongly preferred, because you’ll be taking shipments to the UPS office. It takes up some space in your trunk/backseat, about the size of two large suitcases (we provide handcarts).

Hours:
10-15 hours per week. We have a relatively flexible schedule in that you can choose your own hours. Right now, the shipping manager coming in Mondays and Wednesdays is working well for our team, but we could change that if you have other obligations.
Pay
23/hr.
