Warehouse Handler - Pick-Stock-Load

• The PureFUN! Warehouse Team picks orders and loads merchandise on company delivery trucks with care knowing products are being delivered to clients serving in the Childcare Industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

HOURS

Monday - Friday: 9am - 6pm (or as business dictates)

• Must be able to arrive early or stay late based on business requirements

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables professional relationships with co-workers, delivery drivers, management, and the occasional customer
• Accurately pull orders using a formatted pick sheet and associated labels
• Communicate with Supervisor on items that are out of stock, or items that are located in the incorrect bin location
• Load trucks for next day deliveries
• Handle all products with care as to not damage them
• Safely operate a forklift and motorized pallet jack
• Maintain acceptable levels of cleanliness throughout the warehouse
• Ensure safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities

• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to produce continuous effort, at the level expected by management, in the handling of products weighing 25-50 pounds
• Ability to perform work requiring frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, lifting and repetitive motion
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary
• High school diploma or GED
• Be a team player, self starter with a strong work ethic, and ability to take initiative
• Possess critical thinking skills that enable logical decision-making
• Possess adequate math skills in the areas of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently enough to communicate with co-workers, to understand and provide directions; to respond to management inquiries; to read pick sheets
• 1 year of Forklift experience and certification preferred
• 1 year of Motorized Pallet Jack experience preferred
• Must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check) and follow all guidelines of the Drug Free Workplace Program
• Must pass E-Verify screening for eligibility to work in the United States
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Have reliable transportation to work
