Sign-On Bonus Opportunities:
- CNA: Earn a $2,000 bonus.
- LVN: Receive a $4,000 bonus.
- RN: Get a $5,000 bonus.
Receive your bonus in two increments—50% after your first 90 days and the remainder after 180 days, celebrating your continuous impact in our team. (Full-time and Part-time hires are eligible for sign-on bonus, PRN is not eligible)
Position Summary: Day 6a-6p and Night 6p-6a
The RN/LVN plays an integral role in providing high quality customer service and clinical care (pursuant to scope of license) to facility customers. The RN is responsible for leading and supporting the goals for shift objectives to enhance team efficiency and customersatisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Initiates and leads team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans
2. Performs efficiently in emergency patient care situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events
3. Demonstrates knowledge of legal issues, including patient confidentiality and risk management in all aspects of patient care and unit functioning
4. Documents patient care and unit activities in a timely, accurate, and concise manner
5. Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
6. Obtain data for electronic Admission Data Record
7. Administers medications, starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents, and documents that treatment as required by facility, local, state and federal rules and regulations
8. Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel
9. Assists physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act
10. Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner
11. Coordinates nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments
12. Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents
13. Motivates and provides work direction (direct, check, review, organize and coordination) to C.N.As and unit coordinators (no authority to hire, fire or discipline)
14. Supervises nursing unit, which includes directing the nursing staff to extent permitted by State Practice Act
15. Adheres to infection control guidelines
Competencies
· Provides therapeutic and rehabilitative care in accordance with nursing care plan
· Gives accurate and thorough report at change of shift
· Collaborates with C.N.A. regarding patient’s current and change of status
· Collaborates with patient’s Inter-Disciplinary Care Team
· Delegates responsibility appropriately
· Accuracy of documentation
· Timeliness of documentation (real-time)
· Perform IV therapy on patients within LN scope of practice
· Administers medication accurately, as evidenced by the EMR and lack of negative patient outcomes
· Encourages patient growth and independence as care progression warrants
· Takes a proactive approach to checking and stocking supplies

Work Environment
This job operates in a post-acute setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the facility. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. Team member is expected to adhere to facility’s no-smoking policy.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a post-acute setting that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Weekend and holiday shifts will be required.

Required Education/Experience
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Graduate of an accredited RN program
Required License/Certification
· Valid state RN License
· Current CPR certification
Preferred Education/Experience
· College/University Degree in Nursing
· A minimum of one (1) year nursing experience in a SNF
