What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Site Surveyor position at Purelight Power?
Role:
As a solar site surveyor, you would be responsible for accurately gathering information to share with the construction review and design team. This candidate would be responsible for driving to the customer’s home on a daily basis, gathering all information as provided on the Site Capture form and communicating with employees when needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicle to customer’s homes
- Use an iPad to accurately gather photos and information on the Site Capture App
- Gather information and measurements in attics and on roofs
- Communicate with the Site Survey Manager for tools and equipment you may need
- Communicate with Fleet Coordinator regarding vehicle maintenance through the Fleet Management App
- Must be willing to facilitate vehicle maintenance, registration, etc. (paid by Purelight)
- Must be willing to keep vehicle clean and presentable
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers
- Follow company safety policies
- Work in a fast paced, demanding work environment
- Obtain fall protection certification from Click Safety (1.5 hour course provided by Purelight Power)
- Obtain competent person fall protection certification from Guardian (8 hour course provided by Purelight Power)
- Obtain electrical safety certification from Click Safety (1 hour course provided by Purelight Power)
- Be on time to each appointment and communicate in advance with the Site Survey Manager if timelines cannot be met
- Communicate with employees in a timely manner if additional information is required
- Perform other related duties, as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to climb a ladder and work on a steep sloped roof
- Must use safety equipment per protocol
- Must be willing to get in attics
- Must be willing to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Must be able to maintain continual improvement
- Must be willing to work outside during all 4 seasons of the year
- Travel with company vehicle, required
- Good vehicle background and driver’s license, required
- Experience in construction and/or roofing, preferred
Pay and Availability:
- Full time paid biweekly
