Weekend Storage Manager

We are seeking a confident and reliable individual to help manage our self-storage property in Blythe, CA. Must live locally.

• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM-6 PM. This schedule includes a 1-hour lunch break.
• Flexible weekday availability is preferred but not required. On occasion, extra hours will be available for weekday coverage opportunities.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will help run the daily operations, rent units, collect payments, maintain security, and handle customer service interactions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Customer service!
• Manage rentals and customer accounts efficiently.
• Receive customer payments, including cash, check, credit card, and money order payments. Balance the cash drawer with accuracy daily.
• Communicate effectively over the phone. Handle incoming calls with a helpful and welcoming tone. Make reminder calls to delinquent customers.
• Perform routine inspections and occupancy audits.
• Handle customer inquiries, disputes, and evictions with professionalism
• Operate commonplace office equipment and software systems (i.e., Windows desktop, scanner, printer, Microsoft and Google Office Suites, etc.)
• Promote and sell storage supplies.
• Keep accurate records of customer communication.
• Enforce property rules and security policies to maintain order
• Report property performance and updates daily.

EXPERIENCE & CHARACTERISTICS:

• Experience in property management, self-storage, or related fields (security, customer service, hospitality, retail, etc.)
• Strong and professional communication skills
• Confidence in enforcing policies when necessary
• Organized and self-motivated – this is most often a solo operation
• Spanish-speaking preferred, but not required

Compensation is based on an hourly wage. However, in addition to wages, our company prioritizes and incentivizes performance through monthly bonuses! Learn more when speaking with our Hiring Manager.
