Objective of the Position

The Human Resources Information Systems Analyst position is a key position that supports all Human Resources technologies and systems. Responsible for Human Resource Information System implementations, enhancements and maintenance, mapping of Human Resources systems, HRIS security, audits and local/global reporting.

Accountabilities

The position incumbent ensures, that

  • Provide technical expertise and assistance in designing, testing, and deploying applications and new ADP enhancements.
  • Translate new HR policies and business requirements into creative and effective technical/functional designs, then drive the implementation of those solutions from end-to-end.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Payroll teams to create test plans, analyze test cases, and identify issues and escalate them to appropriate teams.
  • Partner with Payroll and HR teams to analyze current business processes. Recommend and implement new and improved processes to reduce redundancies and manual work and automate functions where possible.
  • Review reporting processes to determine where automation and efficiencies can be implemented.
  • Assist with time and attendance set up and functionality to match company policies and CBA.
  • Lead Global projects for the region in relation to Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Local and Global reporting for example, EEO reporting, turnover and headcount.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations with our processes.
  • Assists in managing the configuration and maintenance of HR and Payroll data in the HRIS system, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HRIS.
  • Creates standard and ad hoc reports for Payroll and the Human Resource Department.
  • Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation for new functions in the HRIS system.
  • Partners with Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, Benefits, and other departments on reporting and system enhancement needs.

Requirement Profile

Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years related experience in Human Resources in an HRIS capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HRIS experience with hands-on ADP configuration experience, Workforce Now, Vantage, Workforce Manager or NextGen/Lyric preferred.
  • HRIS experience with upgrading or implementing a new ADP platform preferred.
  • Global HRIS experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of FLSA, EEO, Federal, State and local laws as it pertains to Human Resources policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent Excel skills with the ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written format.
  • Critical problem solver with solid attention to detail.
  • Experience in business analysis and process improvement.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and multi-task with internal and external teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly with both internal partners and external development resources plus extensive experience in process documentation.
  • Ability to manage timelines, communicate delays, and clarify ambiguous requirements.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable with clear analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Technical Expertise

  • Knowledgeable of HRIS systems, API and file feeds, ADP in particular, for programming and set up.
  • Must be proficient in excel.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
