Objective of the Position : Responsible for parts traceability and sequencing for all plants in North America.
Essential Accountabilities : The position incumbent ensures, that
- Ensure IT Solutions are designed, sized, and implemented to meet service objectives
- Process consulting of local program managers (ME), process design, definition of traceability steps / checkpoints, and implementation (in cooperation with Global Team).
- Provide advice during SOR phase regarding the traceability process and ensures that process according ETS (Eberspaecher Traceability Sequencing) standards and best practices.
- Coordination and implementation of new ETS project / process launches and changes.
- Skilled in the use of Traceability Process Configurator (TPC) for Master Data Setup, In-depth customizing of machines, hardware and traceability processes.
- Operations support (troubleshooting systems problems, programming and troubleshooting Zebra printers), local and corporate support of ETS (on call nights and weekends as needed).
- Coordinates CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives and communicates to Global Team.
- Assign part numbers.
- Integrate machinery, set up process flows.
- Design new product flows.
