Job Description
Objective of the Position : Develop welding techniques, procedures, and application of welding equipment to address problems involving fabrication with metals. Develop weld schedule programming and continuous improvement at the plant level.
Essential Accountabilities : The position ensures, that
- Approval or rejection of weld quality.
- Development and usage of robotic programming techniques.
- Development and usage of welding parameters.
- Educate EETAM personnel in visual weld inspection, weld quality, and weld processes and techniques.
- Robotic weld schedule programming and continuous improvement.
- Robotic weld fixture improvements.
- Training of Repair Welder personnel.
- Tracking production-related welding assembly issues, including meetings and data gathering.
- Support new product launch.
- Support old product relocation to other EETAM plants.
- Design and fabricate fixtures and tools to aid in manufacturability.
- Provide technical support to EETAM development and manufacturing.
- Support Design and Manufacturing Engineer in completing customer documentation requirements pertaining to welding technologies and product feasibility
- Support Production and Quality Manager in maintaining current mass production.
- Develop relationships with welding equipment suppliers.
