Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support mainframe z/OS systems, including JCL updates and log monitoring
- Lead and participate in disaster recovery exercises (4 times per year; may require 12 24 hours including weekends)
- Recover z/OS and other applications based on runbook documentation
- Manage software/hardware licenses and coordinate procurement requests
- Attend weekly planning meetings related to disaster recovery
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- OR Associate s degree 2 years of relevant experience
- OR 4 years of job-related work experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 6 years of IT experience, including varied systems programming experience
Required Technologies:
- z/OS
- JCL
- SDSF
- Dataset management
Preferred Skills:
- DASD management
- z/OS HMC management
- APF knowledge
- DB2, CICS, MQ
