Overview
This role is a ServiceNow Developer with 5-7 years of experience
Day to day would be working within multiple modules within the ServiceNow system.
Looking at automation type responsibilities as well. Having HTML experience would be good. Java is primary.
PowerShell experience helpful as well.
From a team perspective, 10 people or so on team and will work closely with the process team which defines best practices.
The team works in an Agile fashion which includes sprint ceremonies, daily standups, sprint planning, grooming sessions, etc. in two week sprint cycles.
Updating cards in Jira. Tech writing or documentation is not part of the role.
Some experience with automation on the ServiceNow platform.
Personality is huge!! Strong communication, problem solver, demonstrate a natural curiosity to jump in and figure things out to develop business solutions vs. just writing code.
Someone to take initiative to move solutions forward.
Supports internal business lines.
Job Description
Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents to customize software to meet application requirements.
Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback.
Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency.
Participates in architecture, design and code reviews.
Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
Analyzes systems specifications and designs, develops, modifies, and installs highly complex and customized software.
Actively participate in the escalation of live errors and service problems to limit downtime and resolve problems.
Recognize and solve inconsistencies in the detailed technical specifications
