We are currently hiring Laundry Production Workers at Brady Linen.. This position is a full-time position and is represented by the Culinary Union.
Job title: Laundry Production Worker
Pay: $19.50 hourly/non-exempt
Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift
Location: Mayflower, Foremaster, Losee, Arville
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sort clean and soiled linen for processing
- Feeds clean linens through moving belt folding machines
- Hand Folds fold small pieces
- Job types include: Ironer, Feeders folders, Shakers, Stackers and Wrappers
- Tracking production
- Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to respond to basic verbal commands.
- Effectively follow directions.
- Organized
- Bi-lingual
- Laundry or housekeeping experience a plus
- Detail oriented
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
- Able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
- May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels.
- May be required to bend, reach and/or lift up to 25 lbs.
