Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Responsible to ensure a consistent quality product from the production equipment.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
1. Inspect equipment daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly based on protocols
2. Maintain cleanliness of equipment
3. Lubricate equipment as necessary
4. Notify Chief Engineer if equipment is not working to specifications
5. Clean and organize engineering shop including spare parts shelves
6. Maintaining inventory of parts for routine maintenance as well as for corrective efforts by the plant Engineers
7. Perform quality checks on final products on machines to ensure machines are operating correctly
8. Perform checks on outgoing linen to ensure the quality standard of the customer is met
Perform any and all other duties and assignments as assigned for the success of the business
Prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:
· Able to work with hands.
· Able to work independently and stay on task.
· Read/Write/Speak English
· Proficient computer skills including intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite
Physical environment/ working conditions: This position is in a commercial laundry facility where work area may be noisy, hot, and humid. This position involves standing, walking, sitting, and requires climbing stairs to get to work area.
Equipment and machinery used: Computer, keyboard, and mouse, tablet, Grease Gun,
Engineer will be responsible to repair, maintain, and optimize processing machinery from the boiler room to production floor equipment.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
- Electrical systems knowledge, ability to read schematics and use of voltmeter.
- Work safely with high voltage (480v) and well as control voltage.
- Trouble shooting skills to diagnose machinery problems.
- Respond to breakdowns
- Experience with pneumatic systems from generation to process use on machinery.
- Diagnosing fault and troubleshooting equipment
- Understanding of hydraulic components, flow, and pressure.
- Repair machinery in accordance to manufacturer’s specifications.
- OSHA training
- Implement and develop a personal growth path to learn additional engineering and technical skills for career advancement.
- Knowledge in PLC logic and basic programming (programmable Logic Controller)
- Creating maintenance procedures
- Execute daily wok orders and preventive maintenance tasks
- Critical thinking and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive person that finishes all assigned tasks.
- Competent skills with computer controls and software.
- The ability to manage a varied workload
- Must adhere to all safety procedures related to all local, state, and federal regulations

QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma
- 2-3 Years of formal technical training in the principles of electricity, mechanics, or HVAC
- Two years of journeyman experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures from blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
