Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient lab environment.
- Organize and label small computers on shelves, including documenting their IP addresses, capabilities, and configurations.
- Label and document all cables and connections within the lab for easy identification.
- Maintain an inventory system for small parts, cables, and computers, ensuring easy tracking and retrieval.
- Organize and maintain hand tools to ensure availability and proper use.
- Assist with setting up and configuring lab equipment as needed.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and IT staff to ensure lab efficiency.
- Run Cat5 and low-voltage power cables for new installations.
- Install cameras both indoors and on the roof, ensuring proper setup and connectivity.
- Maintain a surveillance trailer, including upkeep of small computers, cameras, radars, and cabling.
- Perform cosmetic maintenance on the trailer, such as painting, to ensure a professional appearance.
- Keep cabling in the surveillance trailer well-organized and labeled.
- Participate in QA testing of our software when other primary tasks are completed.
- Seek direction proactively when uncertain about the next task.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain an efficient workspace.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, connectivity labeling, etc.).
- Familiarity with Microsoft OS configuration and system setup.
- Ability to create and maintain inventory systems (manual or digital).
- Experience with labeling and documentation to improve accessibility and usability.
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience using hand tools for basic setup and maintenance.
- Ability to run Cat5 and low-voltage power cables.
- Experience with camera installations, both indoor and outdoor.
- Comfortable performing basic maintenance and organization of surveillance equipment.
- Ability to perform QA testing of software and provide detailed feedback.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive mindset-takes initiative and seeks guidance when needed.

- Prior experience in a technical lab environment or IT support role.
