Projects include data centers, semiconductor and EV battery manufacturers, universities, health care facilities, and district energy systems.

Position Overview : The Operations Director will oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role will collaborate closely with technicians, engineers, and leadership to optimize workflows, maintain compliance, and support the company’s growth objectives. This position will report to the VP of Operations and will be responsible for oversight of people, equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and operational performance.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Technicians, and Engineers to ensure timely project completion.
Monitor budgetary performance and optimize resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Collaborate with HR and Training teams to integrate operational strategies into PurgeRite Academy programs.
Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Lead and mentor operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, providing timely solutions.

Requirements : Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

5 years of experience in operations, preferably within the mechanical, construction, or blue-collar industries.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.

Knowledge of hydronic flushing, mechanical systems, or related industries is a plus.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

Team Leadership : Experience managing teams, motivating employees, and fostering a productive work environment.

Conflict Resolution : Ability to handle disputes and foster positive relationships within teams.

Change Management : Skills in guiding teams through organizational changes or process adjustments.

Training & Development : Capacity to mentor and upskill team members.

Familiarity with safety compliance standards (OSHA or equivalent).

Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.
