About Us : PurgeRite, the leader in high-quality mechanical flushing services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Foreman to help shape our organization as we undergo exciting and rapid growth. This position is mission critical to our existing and future service implementations. We serve all sizes of commercial mechanical companies across the U.S. with end user clients that include many top Fortune 100 companies. Projects include data centers, semiconductor and EV battery manufacturers, universities, health care facilities, and district energy systems.
Position Overview : The Shop Foreman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shop, managing technicians, and ensuring all equipment and mechanical systems are properly maintained and operational. This role involves coordinating workflow, supervising repairs and maintenance, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting field operations to ensure the seamless delivery of our hydronic flushing services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Supervision : Lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians and shop personnel, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.
- Workflow Management : Schedule and prioritize shop tasks, including equipment maintenance, repairs, and preparation for field deployment.
- Equipment Oversight : Ensure all mechanical flushing equipment and tools are properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for field use.
- Safety & Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and ensure QHS&E compliance with company policies.
- Inventory Management : Oversee and maintain inventory levels of parts, tools, and materials, ensuring timely replenishment in coordination with procurement. Assemble and fulfill orders while promptly reporting any shortages to inventory control.
- Logistics Quality Control : (equipment is loaded and secured safely to ensure it meets PurgeRite’s quality standards and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Collaboration : Work closely with FOMs, Superintendents, Senior Techs, field teams, and project managers to support project needs and ensure operational efficiency.
- Reporting : Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, equipment logs, forklift logs, and team performance at all operational sites; report regularly to the Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager.
