Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will ensure that all areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained to provide a safe and pleasant environment for clients and employees.
Duties
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks in various settings, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
- Execute commercial cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct custodial responsibilities such as restroom cleaning, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies.
- Carry out floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, and waxing floors to maintain their appearance.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the aesthetic of living spaces.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Act as a porter by ensuring that all common areas are tidy and organized.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all assigned areas while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and floor care techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with residential painting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties which may require lifting and moving equipment or materials.
