Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, assist with month-end close activities, conduct variance analysis, and help build financial models and reports. Pay Range : $59,147 - $73,933

The salary for this role will be based on qualifications, experience, market data, and internal equity. Actual pay may vary due to factors such as location, skills, education, and performance. Pay is determined transparently, using market benchmarks and ensuring internal equity.

Responsibilities

Support the S&OP Process :

Assist in the preparation and coordination of the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, operational plans, and financial goals.

Prepare and maintain financial data related to sales and operations, providing insights to help improve forecast accuracy.

Month-End Close Support :

Assist with the month-end close process by preparing financial reports and assisting with account reconciliations.

Help analyze financial data, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and aligned with budgeted figures.

Variance Analysis :

Perform basic variance analysis, comparing actual results to forecasts or budgets and providing clear explanations for discrepancies.

Work with the finance team to identify the reasons behind variances and recommend improvements where necessary.

Financial Modeling and Reporting :

Assist in the creation of financial models to support forecasting and budgeting activities.

Generate regular reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to stakeholders.

Help maintain and improve existing financial reporting templates and dashboards.

Collaboration with Teams :

Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to gather necessary data and ensure alignment between financial plans and business operations.

Help provide relevant financial information and support to other team members during key business meetings.

Process Improvement :

Identify areas for improvement in financial reporting and S&OP processes, assisting with the implementation of more efficient practices.

Specific Measures of Success

Within 6 months, successful leadership of the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, inventory management, and production planning.

Within 9 months, accurate and timely completion of month-end close activities supporting a 5 day close.

Within 30 days, development and maintenance of existing financial models.

Requirements

Experience / Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, with exposure to S&OP, forecasting, and financial reporting preferred.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advance formulas [xlookup, sumifs, etc.], data analysis).

Basic understanding of financial concepts, such as budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting.

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central) or financial reporting software a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues in different departments.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
