The Lead Mechanic will complete repairs on light duty trucks, conduct preventative maintenance, and inspections in accordance with the maintenance plan, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The Lead Mechanic will also be responsible for maintaining the shop & yard site.

Job Summary
The Lead Mechanic will complete repairs on light duty trucks, conduct preventative maintenance, and inspections in accordance with the maintenance plan, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The Lead Mechanic will also be responsible for maintaining the shop & yard site.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- General mechanical knowledge including pumps, hydraulics and electrical.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Basic intermediate computer skills
- Experience with work order execution.
- Has own basic tools.
- Experience with safety training.
- Keep up with training and process needs, requirements.
- Problem solve and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Communicates well and works in clean orderly manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade education in industrial mechanics (preferred)
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with light duty vehicle repair.
- Must have Preventative Maintenance experience.
- Possess own basic hand tools.
- Class C driver's license.
