Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Purity Healthcare medical facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the clinic runs efficiently while providing high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial management expertise, and a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and JCAHO standards.
- Oversee financial management activities, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Supervise clinic staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality acute and critical care services are delivered effectively.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Address patient concerns and feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including hospitals and other healthcare facilities, for referrals and partnerships.
Experience
- Proven experience in medical office management or clinic administration is essential.
- Strong background in financial management and budgeting within a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with acute care practices and critical care environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of human resources management within a clinical context is advantageous.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to healthcare facilities, including JCAHO standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health services administration, or similar.
- Experience in managing a healthcare facility or clinic.
- Ability to supervise and motivate clinic staff to perform their duties efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational skills to ensure that quality services are provided.
- Knowledge of procuring supplies, equipment, and staff needed at the clinic.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, billing, and negotiating with suppliers and vendors.
- Competency with computer-based healthcare administration systems, like Kareo and eClinic EMR.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for liaising with patients, healthcare providers, and specialists, as well as the public.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
