Description
The Lab Attendant will be responsible for the daily care of the lab, which will include cleaning the floor and work area.
Lab Attendants will also be responsible for cleaning all machines and utensils used on a daily basis and sterilizing
utensils according to Food Safety regulations. Lab Attendants will be responsible for preparing for the following days'
production and preparing the tubes for extraction. Lab Attendants must be aware of the Lab SOPs and be aware of the
hazards in their environment. Lab Attendants must meet and strive to exceed goals set by management. Lab
Attendants must cheerfully execute their duties and maintain a productive work environment. Lab Attendants will
strive to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Lab Attendants must be aware of and execute food safety
standards as they pertain to the zones in the laboratory. Lab Attendants also aid in the production of all lab-based
products. This includes, but is not limited to, formulating, filling, and packaging.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Tube packing
- Alcohol extraction techniques
- Butane extraction techniques
- Formulating, filling, and packaging of lab products
- Waste disposal, properly and according to New Mexico CCD standards
- Cleaning of machines
- Machine maintenance, checking, cleaning
- Environment cleaning and maintaining a clutter-free area of work
- Food Safety precautions and standards
- Lift twenty-five pounds overhead. Lift fifty pounds waist-high and walk twenty feet
- Maintaining chain-of-custody for product as it is converted to concentrate
- Maintain OSHA and Safety compliance
- Working knowledge of SOPs as they pertain to the lab
- Share ideas with manager and team, speak to individuals and groups
- Communication skills; oral, written, electronic
- Proper handling and storage of all solvents
- Duties can be added and / or withdrawn at the Company's discretion
QUALIFICATIONS
