About the Role :
As a Restoration Technician, you will use a variety of tools and equipment to help customers recover from property damage. This includes water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, fire damage cleanup, smoke / odor removal, and more. Youll be on the front lines, ensuring homeowners feel guided and secure throughout the restoration process. Position will include an Onboarding Process which includes a 30, 60, and 90 day review.
Responsibilities :
Set up extraction, drying, and decontamination equipment at job sites
Be able to work independently and / or with a team
Be reliable, punctual and dependable as schedule is 8 AM - 5 PM
Communicate clearly with homeowners about the restoration process
Perform water extractions and structural drying
Remove damaged drywall, insulation, carpeting, flooring, and cabinetry
Conduct fire and smoke damage cleanups, including odor removal
Handle mold remediation and biohazard cleanups
Work in tight spaces like attics and crawlspaces
Perform demolition, debris removal, and post-cleanup tasks
Document jobs with photos, contracts, and moisture mapping via mobile apps
Maintain and clean company equipment and vehicles
Requirements :
High School Diploma / GED
Valid Drivers License with a Clean Record
Reliable Transportation with personal vehicle to and from work
Ability to Lift 70 lbs Repeatedly
Comfortable Working in Confined Spaces (attics, crawlspaces, etc.)
Ability to Wear PPE & Respirator Masks
Pass a Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening
Excellent Communication & Customer Service Skills
Basic Construction Knowledge & Ability to Use Hand / Power Tools
Reliable, Punctual, and Dependable
Smartphone / Tablet Proficiency for Mobile Documentation
Flexible Schedule & Ability to Be On-Call for After-Hours Emergencies
Preferred But Not Required :
Experience with MICA or Similar Mobile Applications
IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, FRST, AMRT, etc.)
