We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team and help us provide pristine workspaces and finished mitigation and restoration jobs.

Job Description :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-driven Cleaner to support our restoration team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning vacant apartments, common areas, and performing final clean-up after demolition or restoration projects. This role will also require cleaning up soot and smoke damage, water damage, dust and debris, so a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in various environments is essential. A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

Clean vacant apartments, homes and businesses, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and floors.

Maintain and clean common areas, such as hallways, staircases, lobbies, and shared spaces.

Perform post-demolition final cleaning, removing dust, debris, and ensuring the property is ready for the next phase of restoration or client handover.

Clean soot and smoke damage from surfaces, walls, ceilings, and other areas affected by fire or smoke.

Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, especially for removing soot and smoke stains.

Ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned to a high standard, paying close attention to detail.

Remove and dispose of any waste materials, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.

Occasional biohazard cleaning

Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure job completion and address any issues as needed.

Qualifications :

Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a restoration or construction environment.

Experience cleaning soot and smoke damage is highly desirable.

Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot and address even the smallest areas in need of cleaning.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time efficiently.

Physical stamina and the ability to handle cleaning equipment and materials.

Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of cleanliness in all tasks.

Knowledge of safety and cleaning protocols.
