Water and Fire Damage Technician

Job Summary
The Restoration Technician plays a crucial role in the restoration industry by responding to emergency situations involving water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and other restoration needs. This position requires a hands-on approach to restore properties to their pre-loss condition while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties

• Assess and evaluate damage to properties caused by water, fire, or mold and develop appropriate restoration plans.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for various restoration tasks including water extraction, drying, demolition, and repair.
• Perform mold remediation procedures following established safety protocols.
• Conduct carpet cleaning and restoration services as needed.
• Execute asbestos abatement processes in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of restoration projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on each project.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain the restoration process and provide updates on project status.

Skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.53 - $18.38 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
