The Property Damage Restoration Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property damage restoration (repair) assignments. From initial assessment to assignment completion. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as communicating with clients and subcontractors. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct initial property inspections to assess damage and determine scope of work.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage all phases of the restoration project, including demolition, reconstruction, and final cleaning.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Communicate project progress and any potential issues to clients on a regular basis.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and invoices
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Resolve client concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong Project Management/Leadership experience/skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Construction/Remodeling experience.
- IICRC certifications (e.g. Water Damage Restoration Technician, Applied Structural Drying) preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Physical Demands
- Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and in various environment conditions.
Work Environment
- Work is primarily performed in a fast-paced environment on job sites.
- May require occasional travel.
