LNP SpecialistPurple Communications Inc. is a leading U.S. provider of video relay services (VRS), video remote interpreting (VRI), and on-site interpreting services. We give people who are a part of the Deaf Community, and organizations that employ them, the ability to communicate effectively and the freedom to make and receive calls anytime, anyplace and anywhere.Brief summary of duties : The Local Number Port-In Specialist (PI Specialist) will be responsible for contacting customers with Purple TDN's that have been ported out to another provider. The LNP will educate the customers about the porting process works and how porting out their number restricts their access to our services. The PI Specialist will assist the customer with the port-in process, and if the port is unauthorized, assist the customer in filing complaints with FCC for unauthorized port out. In addition, they will call prospective deaf customers who may be interested in porting their LN to Purple Communications. The representative will also be required to update and maintain accounts of the customers that they come in contact with.Areas of Responsibility : Make outbound calls & qualify port-in leads provided by managementFollow Porting contact requirements established by FCCAssist Customers with LOA Documents, FCC Complaints and Feedback SurveysCommunicate company value proposition to ensure customer loyalty after port-inProvide follow up support for all accounts assignedOther duties may be assigned as needed.Minimum Qualification Requirements : Must be fluent in American Sign LanguageFriendly and engagingOrganized, a self-starter and a quick learnerConnected to your local deaf communityA highly motivated salesperson with a good amount of energyCapable of thinking in technical termsCapable of devoted daily timeFamiliarity with the Port - in processCapable of producing written testimonials on customer's behalf for submission to FCCExperience with the following is a plus : Knowledge of American Sign Language and Deaf Culture preferredTroubleshooting any issue that may ariseComputer and Software literacyExperience with any other video phone devicesWelcoming and enthusiastic personality
