10 years of experience with LINUX and Windows Operating Systems
10 years of experience with C, Java & Oracle Database
SQL, shell scripting, ability to read and interpret logs & debug files
Installation of Operating system patches and other 3rd Party Software such as Oracle, NetApp etc.
System configuration and Hands on Experience in GitHub and ClearCase
10 years experience on Realtime or Mission Critical Systems
Must have experience in picking up and installing fixes on live customer systems
Proven track record of problem analysis, identification and resolution
Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
MS office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Outlook competency
Understanding of Utility applications like Reliance (Formerly known as XA/21) experience, ADMS ,OMS.
Object-Oriented programming techniques, Oracle, and/or system administration, is a plus
Ability to develop and execute priorities
Bring balance of broad perspective and specialized skills to resolve functional issues
Ability to analyze technical processes
Ability to make quick decisions in order to adapt to any situation

Roles & Responsibilities
The position will provide a first point of contact for customers and then will work closely with the Customer Support Team and the Subject Matter Experts (SME) to resolve all customer issues, such as:
Monitor customer cases through the customer call tracking system
Take ownership of technical support cases
Work with customers to gather information, investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues
Liaison with SMEs and product support and project teams for further level 3 support
Assistance with the installation and testing of patches and software changes onto the customer's in-house, test and live systems
Assistance with configuration management, system tuning and general system administration tasks
