What are the responsibilities and job description for the Azure Solutions Architect position at Purple Fly Solutions?

Job based in Richmond, VA with requirement for 3-4 days / week onsite

Long-term role focused on Azure Solutions Architecture

Role involves creating overall application and solution architectures for business solutions

Leading efforts in defining, documenting and estimating aspects of enterprise applications

Capturing requirements for various system components and environments

Collaborating with IT staff to translate business needs into automated solutions

Producing relevant solution design artifacts

Coordinating new system development for consistency with existing systems

Analyzing and estimating feasibility with hardware and other programs

Collaborating with business areas and cross-functional Enterprise Architects for strategic consultation

Partnering with architects and technical team members to develop strategic roadmaps

Implementing Enterprise Security / technology Patterns

Providing architectural considerations on legacy solutions

Qualifications include experience with SAFe architecture and Agile / Scrum teams

Demonstrated ability in developing enterprise and solution level architectural designs

Experience in linking cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems

Skills in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling / mapping, and data mapping

Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques

Project management skills and experience with project lifecycle models

Understanding of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies

Competency with XML constructs and schemas, and API protocols such as SOAP and REST

Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements

Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives

Ability to work creatively and analytically in a team environment

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
