- Job Title: Clinical Supervisor
- Location: Onsite, Roanoke, VA
- Reports to: Clinical Director
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct and follow up on investigations of client abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
2. Oversee compliance with Labor Laws, Medicaid, DBHDS, Human Rights, OSHA, and agency policies.
3. Represent the company at conferences, provider fairs, and other venues.
4. Conduct monthly facility inspections and monitor risk management issues.
5. Lead and attend all required meetings, including staff meetings, house meetings, and in-services.
6. Monitor equipment and supplies.
7. Conduct screenings, admissions, referrals, and assessments.
8. Approve and monitor Client Service Plans.
9. Write annual and quarterly reports.
10. Conduct pre-service and in-service training.
11. Develop and implement policies and procedures.
12. Perform shift work during staffing shortages.
13. Develop ISP's.
14. Participate in monthly on-call rotation.
15. Provide supervision and case consultation to staff.
16. Lead and supervise clinical staff.
17. Co-sign documents completed by direct reports.
18. Assist the Clinical Director with business development.
19. Submit all clinical documentation within 24 hours as per Virginia State Medicaid guidelines.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Understanding of fiscal operations, risk and personnel management, and assessment tools.
3. Knowledge of records management and confidentiality practices.
4. Ability to conduct and report abuse and/or neglect investigations.
5. Ability to conduct Quality Assurance Check on documentation and manage risk factors.
6. Ability to monitor overall client care.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum Master's Degree in Human Services Field.
2. At least one year of work experience with persons with a Mental Illness, Substance Use Diagnosis or developmental disability.
3. Licenses: LPC, LPC-Eligible, LCSW, LCSW-Eligible.
4. Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Behavior Modification.
5. Must undergo a national and state background investigation and a central registry check by the Department of Social Services.
6. Valid Virginia driver's license and a current DMV driving record.
7. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as stooping, bending, and standing.
8. Basic computer operation skills.
9. PPD Screening.
