Job Summary :
- Work closely with the Enterprise Applications Manager and various departments to ensure optimal application functionality.
- Administer, integrate, and support the firm's management applications such as Finance, Marketing, and practice-specific tools.
- Implement application upgrades, perform periodic maintenance, and reconfigure applications as needed.
- Administer underlying platforms like Microsoft SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Active Directory and Azure AD authentication and integration, and Windows Servers.
- Coordinate with other departments during projects and system upgrades, and communicate risk factors.
- Participate in month-end maintenance tasks such as Windows updates and SQL maintenance.
- Test applications during system changes, enhancements, upgrades, and monthly system maintenance.
- Document system configurations, integrations, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Communicate project statuses, issues, and proposed resolutions to the department and management.
- Manage vendor support tickets and resolve support requests or tickets escalated from the helpdesk team.
- Track and optimize system performance and storage utilization, and plan for necessary hardware or software upgrades.
- Research and evaluate new tools or technologies to improve the current application stack.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating accounting, time tracking, billing, and management software in a legal or professional services company is preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL administration, data queries, and reporting is essential.
- Experience with PowerShell, C#, Visual Basic .Net, HTML5, or other programming or scripting languages is required.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills are required.
- 4-year college degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Microsoft and other vendor certifications are preferred but not required.
