- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
- Budgeting: Assist in developing and managing budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and internal controls.
- Process Management: Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to manage their financial operations, providing insights and recommendations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth. Direct supervision of other accounting staff.
- System Oversight: Leverage accounting software and ERP systems to enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with the tax team to align financials with tax planning strategies.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; or 10 years of relevant experience.
- CPA certification.
- 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on financial reporting and compliance.
- Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, including QuickBooks
- Expertise in Excel.
- Leadership:
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and lead.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
