Job Summary:
- Role: Senior Full Stack Java Developer to work onsite in Boston.
- Must provide Last 4 SSN, Local Address Proof, DOB, DL, and visa for verification purposes.
- Required Skills: Strong AWS, Angular experience (version 12 or above), and insurance background.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Java development, ideally within the US.
- Responsibilities: Full-stack Java development, cross-functional collaboration, customer-centric application development, optimization of system performance and reliability, oversight of development lifecycle, database architecture and optimization, mentoring junior developers, requirement translation, and system integration testing support.
- Qualifications: 10 years of frontend and backend experience building scalable applications in Java/J2EE, AWS and RESTful Web Services, experience with Spring, Spring boot, WebSphere, JBOSS, ESB (Mule), Rule Engines (e.g. Drools), JUnit, Hibernate/MyBatis, Web Service, Unix Shell Scripting, Angular (version 12 and/or above), JavaScript-based systems, SQL, XML, and DB2. Mobile/iOS/Android development experience, Java Certifications, and design experience are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, diverse technologies, new technical architecture principles and concepts, layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs, and Object Oriented Design Patterns are required. Experience in the P&C insurance industry is preferred but not required.
