Job Title : Senior Full Stack Java Developer with Insurance experience
Location : Woodbridge NJ with onsite work required 4 days per week
Experience Level : 13 years
Must be able to attend an inperson interview
Candidates must be a US Citizen Green Card holder or hold a GC / H4EAD
Key Skills Required : Angular Java Spring API AWS SQL DB stored procedures triggers functions indexes
Job involves creating and supporting business solutions designing redesigning coding testing debugging configuring and documenting products / projects for the insurance business
Responsible for ensuring requirement statements are complete consistent comprehensible feasible and unambiguous
Must be able to work across teams communicate effectively with third parties and provide input to Development Manager for project planning
Expected to produce comprehensive technical documentation
Should be able to design systems using known design methodologies and best practices and make recommendations for optimum solutions considering time and resource considerations
Will be responsible for identifying tracking and resolving problems and identifying performance issues in production
Leadership and mentoring responsibilities towards junior team members are required
Candidate must have experience in insurance industry be adaptable wellorganised and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Education Requirements : BA / BS degree required (computer science or related field preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of Software Engineeringrelated experience
Experience with designing developing testing and implementing applications using technologies such as Java / J2EE environment Angular TypeScript / JavaScript CSS libraries Bootstrap PrimeNG Spring MVC REST JMS JBOSS ESB (Mule) JSON MyBatis XML XSLT SOAP Maven
Experience with SQL language in DB2 and MS SQL Server
Knowledge of AWS such as Lambda S3 and development of applications for AWS would be a big plus.
Should possess the ability to develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems.
