Dispatcher (Part-time) Customer Service

• Flexibility to work between 2nd to 3rdshift
• 1:30 PM to 10 PM 2nd Shift
• 10 PM to 7 M 3rd Shift
• Ideal candidate will be able to cover both all shifts on rotating basis

## Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience and ability to learn new software systems.

## Duties
- Utilize GPS and transportation management systems to track and monitor shipments
- Coordinate with drivers and carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
- Enter data accurately into the system for record-keeping purposes
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and updates
- Assist in resolving any transportation-related issues that may arise

## Skills
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Purple Mountain Solutions is seeking a dependable dispatcher that can communicate effectively with customers and drivers to record details about shipments, arrange pick up times, and discuss any special handling issues.
The ideal candidate will have a customer service background with a focus on situation resolution and customer relationship building with strong technical aptitude including but not limited to MS office (Word, Excel). Candidate must have a pleasant demeanor and professional image and the ability to excel in a team environment.
Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with shipping and receiving processes and procedures is desired but not required
• Technical aptitude to work with a variety of software
• Experience in data entry
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
