As an Account Manager at PRPL, you are the bridge between our clients and PRPL. In particular, you will serve as the primary Account Manager for our large, big tech client. You have a natural ability to foster trust and demonstrate our team’s value on a regular basis. You’re not just a representative—you’re the trusted partner who ensures every client interaction reflects PRPL’s commitment to responsiveness, second mile service and personalized interactions.In this role, you’ll be a point of contact for many of our clients/Hiring Managers within this larger organization as well as potential new clients, serving as an expert communicator and a natural problem-solver.
This position has two primary responsibilities. The larger share of focus will go towards our existing big tech client.
- Active Account Management: (70%) One part of your role will be tracking deliverables for each team, attending weekly meetings and compiling monthly reporting that demonstrates our value as a talent/staffing partner. This responsibility will enable you to build stronger relationships with our clients by getting to know the work that our team’s produce and ensuring that we bring value. Clients will be able to turn to you for regular updates on deliverables, monthly and quarterly reporting, and as a trusted resource to solve any staffing challenges that might arise.
- Business Development: (30%) The other part of your role will be to pursue potential new client leads. While this portion of the role is not as prevalent, we are looking for a client service professional that is not afraid to call on new clients. This may occur through networking, cold calls and or leads that come from calls that the Recruiters make with candidates or referrals. In this capacity, you would be the “face” of PRPL for these potential clients and serve as their primary point of contact/Account Manager should they turn into a billable client. You will ultimately become a valuable business consultant advising clients on hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and talent management best practices.Your goal will be to build your book of business and develop relationships with these clients ensuring that we become their go-to partner for staffing needs.
This position will work closely with the VP of People and Talent Manager to oversee and manage the overall health of our client base. As an Account Manager at PRPL, you’re not just managing relationships—you’re building partnerships that inspire success.
Location: Hybrid/Remote based in Central Florida. There is a strong preference to find someone local to the majority of our team.

Responsibilities
- Support PRPL's services across all engagements within this particular organization
- Serve as one of the primary points of contact for this client and become acutely familiar with the scope of work for each distinct team.
- Meet regularly (monthly) with each client for team performance check-in's
- In absence of a PRPL Producer or Program Manager role, this role would attend stand ups and feedback sessions to ensure PRPL team members have adequate support for bandwidth/scope issues (if they arise), and that feedback is received and actioned according to Google supplier guidance
- Compile monthly and quarterly reporting on deliverables and work accomplished. Identify and communicate risks via reports.
- Work in conjunction with internal client lead to assisting in defining milestones, assessing risks, quality control of work, and identifying actionable insights and recommendations to course correct. However, this individual is not responsible for actively managing the production pipeline on a day to day basis. That should be handled by the PRPL Producer or Google POC. Example: working with internal teams on active deadlines and deliverables.
- Partner with the Operations Lead to request and troubleshoot access needs (tooling, software, equipment)
- Own and drive program documentation on behalf of PRPL.
- Establish Team Communication Guidelines if they do not already exist.
- Ensure client satisfaction by managing overall account health, actively managing risk, communicating clearly, and making sure we deliver work on time to the standards set by Google.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Google ecosystem
- Support the business development process in the creation of project statements of work (SOWs/Work Orders) for new clients when required.
- Collaborate with PRPL's Talent Manager and Recruiters to replace team members as needed.
- Work with the Finance team to ensure billing schedules and reports align to the original statements of work/work orders (SOWs).
- Initiate all scope changes via amendments and work with the VP of People to execute.
- Identify opportunities for new business with existing clients and pursue those opportunities.
- Support the business development process in the creation of project statements of work (SOW) for new clients when required.
- Some travel required, up to 10% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of recruitment or creative agency account management or business development experience
- Experience prioritizing tasks, managing stakeholders, and balancing short-term needs.
- Polished written and presentation communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior leadership
- A glass-half-full outlook that contributes to a strong, positive team culture
- Demonstrable ability to cultivate business with clients and lead successful engagements
- Portfolio mix of national brands and enterprise-level accounts
- Proficiency with Google tools and products
