Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed and sanitized promptly. This position is essential for supporting our restaurant operations and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including prepping ingredients for cooks and chefs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.
